Owner/Veterinarian
Dr. Ellsworth joined EDVC in 2005. She is originally from Louisiana but is happy to be in Texas. She received a B.S. in Biology from Centenary College of Louisiana in Shreveport. She continued her education at LSU where she received a second B.S. in Animal Science, then received her DVM at LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. Dr. Ellsworth belongs to the Dallas County Veterinary Association and American Veterinary Medical Associations.
Dr. Ellsworth started her career with a multi-doctor clinic in Houston where she was named one of the best Veterinarians in Houston. She moved to Dallas to make it possible for her husband, Sam, to attend Baylor Dental School.
Dr. Ellsworth purchased EDVC from Dr. Cantrell in 2008.
Dr. Ellsworth can be found on most weekends during college football season cheering for LSU. She is an avid fan! GO TIGERS!!!
She and her husband enjoy being in the great outdoors and can often be found camping, hiking, biking and boating. Dr. Ellsworth has 3 children and a wonderful French Bulldog named Napoleon and 2 feisty cats named Carrot and Sweetie.
